The Easthampton Community Center is a non-profit agency supported mainly by the United Way, the City, local businesses, and local membership. The Community Center offers activities to people of all ages.
ECC offers:
- a Recreation Room
- Dance Classes - line, ballroom, belly
- Martial Arts Classes
- Holiday Parties
- After School Activities
- Family Center for Children, Parents, Grandparents & Childcare Providers Monday - Wednesday 10 - 11:30 AM fully carpeted room in the downstairs - walk-ins welcome.
- Rooms for Non-Profit organizations - Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, etc.
- Bingo - Seniors and Youth
- Computer Classes - for adults there is a charge, youths are free
- a Parent/Toddler Program - Monday through Thursday 10:30-11:30
- Calligraphy Classes
- Craft Classes
- Seminars
- Free Movies - Tuesday Afternoons
- Food Distribution - Monday 10 AM - noon & 5 - 7 PM - bring a recent utility bill & copies of all cources of income for everyone living in the same household to apply. for information call 527-5240
- Community Dinners 1st, 2nd & 4th Tuesdays 4:30 - 6 PM - food and companionship
- Non-perishable food items such as tuna, peanut butter & jelly, coffee, tea, cereal & canned vegetables are needed and can be dropped off Mionday - Friday 8 AM - 3 PM
- A Clothing Closet - free clothes for children and adults avaiaible Monday - Wednesday 9:30 - 11:30 AM - Easthampton residents only
- Many Bus Trips
The Community Center is always in need of volunteers and has a yearly membership drive each February.
