ECA:

For the last two school years the Easthampton Community Association has been sponsoring Fun Friday/Dances at White Brook Middle School about once a month. The attendance has grown from just over 200 in 1997, to 427 at the 1998 Halloween "Freaky Fun Friday" and "Shocktober Dance".

From 5:30 to 7:15 we have a "Fun Friday" with a small gym available with ping-pong, volleyball, air hockey, etc. and a dj in the gym. Then at 7:30 to 9:15 there is a dance in the gym. Pizza and soda are served at 6:15 and again at 8:15.

A WBMS official is present (usually Julie Salzman) and the police provide a Community Resource Officer free of charge. ECA supplies about ten chaperones for each event.

In 1997 our best attendance was 292, in 1998 427 attended the Halloween event.

The 2001/2002 School year deances are scheduled as follows: Sept. 21; Oct. 26; Nov. 16; Jan. 4; Feb. 1; March 8; April 12 & May 10.

Any questions or further details e-mail.
